The Roland Philippe Père & Fils house of champagne was created in 1952. It is located in the charming Champagne village of Châtillon sur Marne, in the Marne Valley. The history of this village has a colossal importance since at the top of its hill stands the imposing statue of Pope Urban II, who was born there , lived there, and became famous by organizing the first crusade. The vineyard covers six hectares, which enables the harvesting of the three Champagne grape varieties that are Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier and the assembling of the cuvées. Indeed, the range is composed of eight cuvées such as Carte Noire Brut, Carte Noire Demi – Sec, Carte Blanche Brut, Rosé Brut, Millésime Brut, Blanc de Blancs Brut, Cuvée Spéciale and Cuvée Chlo'Ice. The Champagne Roland Philippe has been selling its Champagne directly on its winery, also by export since 2019 and in seven depots located in the Grand Est, Hauts de France, Rhône Alpes and Centre Val de Loire regions. In addition, the Roland Philippe team participates in events and markets such as the Salon Chocolat & Gourmandises in Amiens, the Foire Exposition de Picardie in Amiens, the Comice Agricole in Chatillon sur Loire, the Salon de l'Artisanat et Produits des Terroirs in Thiez and the Verchaix Christmas Market. Village off the A4 motorway (9km) towards Paris (125km) and Reims (35km), and near Epernay (18km) and Dormans (11km).
