The Rhône Valley wine routes
The southern Rhône wine route begins south of Montélimar and ends in Avignon. This Mediterranean region is very diversified in vines because the nature of the soils is very varied. 13 grape varieties make up Drôme, Ardèche and Vaucluse. The wine route in the north of the Rhône valley begins in the south of Lyon, more precisely in Vienne.
