The wine routes in Île-de-France
Meet at the Butte Montmartre to start your journey. About 2000 vines of Gamay and Pinot Noir are planted there. The “Clos Montmartre” produces 1500 bottles each year. Villepinte will be your next destination. Come and taste a Chardonnay in the heart of the Sausset park. Then take the direction of Suresnes. Since the 17th century, wine has been cultivated there. Today, three cuvées sell more than 4000 bottles of white wine each year (dry and semi-dry). At the Château de Versailles, visit the 20 hectares of Cabernet and Merlot vines. Finally in Thomery in Seine-et-Marne, discover the golden chasselas of Fontainebleau, a grape cultivated since the beginning of the 18th century.
