Visit Champagne Alfred Gratien in Épernay
Champagne
Winery
The house of Champagne Alfred Gratien was founded in Epernay in 1864. For four generations, the same line of Cellar Masters have strived to perpetuate and transmit artisanal know-how: rigorous selection of grapes from the best vintages, respect for the terroirs, vinification in small oak barrels and production of limited volumes. Today, Cellar Master Nicolas Jaeger signs the style of the house Alfred Gratien and ensures the continuity of his philosophy.
Through a wine tour, La Maison Alfred Gratien opens the doors of its century-old cellar and its cellars carved into the chalk, 18 meters underground, where nearly a million bottles rest.
