The wine routes in the South West

3 wine routes allow you to visit the 4 sub-regions of the South-West while discovering the local flavors. The Jurançon wine route (Domaine de Cinquai, Clos Lapeyre, and winegrowers around Pau ) takes you to the producers of sweet and dry white wines, but also to the borders of the Béarn mountains: an ideal region for walkers who will find on their path waterfalls, forest trails and local winegrowers. Completely in the South West, the Madiran wine route (Château Barrejat, Château de Viella, Domaine des Maouries, etc.) is more focused on red wine and gastronomy. As in Bordeaux for example, you will be able to taste several wines with strong character adapted to the local cuisine. Food & flavors are waiting for you. The Gaillac wine route (Domaine Duffau, Maison Labastide, Château Maresque, etc.) above Toulouse is also a specialist in red wine. However, you will find some sparkling specialties there, as well as rosé wine.
