After a few explanations on the history of Maison Ruinart given in one of the salons of the historic building dating from the end of the 18th century, head for the stairs that lead to the chalk pits. Let yourself be guided to a depth of 40 meters and discover the bewitching universe of several centuries of history. These old chalk quarries, exploited for nearly 2000 years to build all kinds of buildings such as the Cathedral of Reims , now house the bottles of the prestigious House during their maturation. The visit to Maison Ruinart ends with the tasting of a non-vintage champagne (Ruinart Blanc de Blancs or Rosé) and a vintage prestige champagne (Dom Ruinart Blanc de Blancs or Rosé).
