Fantastic experience, impressive tour through their cellars. Amazing and knowledgeable guide, very informative. We did not know that parking in the premises is not possible, I would recommend to include this in the guest information.

Very nice home. Visit of the Crayères carried out with a very competent guide. The tasting of two glasses of vintage champagne, at the end of the visit, brings this excellent experience to a close.

Was a very sophisticated and personal experience. The grounds are lovely and we got an excellent education on champagne making and an artistic light show! Their dedication to sustainability was also impressive. Highly recommend!!

The place is splendid, the explanations very clear, the works of art commissioned by Ruinart along the way make the visit doubly interesting, and the tasting was really very pleasant. Congratulations in particular to the young guide who was great!

The cellar was superb and the visit was great! The place is really beautiful and impressive. Our guide was just perfect! She knows her subject very well, very professional and makes the visit even more interesting. She also recommended us some restaurants in the area. At the end we were able to taste 2 different champagnes. I highly recommend her!

Magnificent visit to these cellars carved into the chalk pits, very competent and interesting guide, company turned towards art too, a good hour in the coolness of the underground cellars.

Very good welcome, very friendly and available guide during the whole visit. An exceptional champagne that we already appreciate enormously, the fact of discovering these chalk pits at a depth of 40 meters, knowing the process, the patience required until the final realisation is fascinating and we understand better its finesse and elegance.

There is not much to say except that we had an exceptional experience!!! Congratulations to all the Ruinart teams for this work. Authentic and breathtaking experience (I don't want to say more to avoid "spoiling" you), an intimate moment (we were only 2 couples), a warm and welcoming team, an awesome guide who taught us a lot! This experience costs a certain price but it is worth it. I am proud of being French and of our heritage by living such a moment. We had trouble leaving the place after the visit!

An instructive visit on champagne, history and art. A particular and preserved universe. To do again. A very sincere thank you to our guide, Léo, both caustic and benevolent in front of ignorant people. thanks again

visit the Ruinart cellars, the famous Champagne House

After a few explanations on the history of Maison Ruinart given in one of the salons of the historic building dating from the end of the 18th century, head for the stairs that lead to the chalk pits. Let yourself be guided to a depth of 40 meters and discover the bewitching universe of several centuries of history. These old chalk quarries, exploited for nearly 2000 years to build all kinds of buildings such as the Cathedral of Reims , now house the bottles of the prestigious House during their maturation. In the cellars of Champagne , it is constantly 10°C with a humidity rate of around 100%, so remember to take a jacket! During this visit, you will discover the key stages in the production of champagne. During your tour, you will be able to see bottles in the middle, that is to say, lying on wooden slats in order to have the second fermentation, or even bottles placed in desks for the riddling operation. The visit to Maison Ruinart ends with the tasting of a non-vintage champagne (Ruinart Blanc de Blancs or Rosé) and a vintage prestige champagne (Dom Ruinart Blanc de Blancs or Rosé). Thanks to the explanations, you will be able to perceive all the particularities and qualities specific to each champagne.

Ruinart Champagnes

  • R de Ruinart: The first expression of the Ruinart taste, freshness and balance.
  • Ruinart Blanc de Blancs: The emblem of the Ruinart taste, a champagne of great aromatic power.
  • Ruinart Rosé: The gourmet expression, an intense, voluptuous and aromatic champagne.
  • The vintages: Luxury and quintessence for the vintages of Ruinart, the fruit of a meticulous selection of grapes from the best years.
