A classified growth of Graves in red and white since 1953, Château Latour-Martillac owes its name to the tower adorning its main courtyard, a vestige of a fort built in Martillac in the 12th century by the ancestors of the famous philosopher and winemaker Montesquieu.
Alfred Kressmann bought the estate in 1930. He developed the vineyard in red and designed with his son Jean the current label barred in gold and sand, which has adorned the bottles since 1934.
Today, Tristan and Loïc Kressmann continue the family tradition of always prioritizing quality over yield on this authentic Graves terroir.
