In this vineyard on the right bank of the Gironde there are large and numerous castles, each as attractive as the other. The wine region of Libourne, also called the Libournais, is home to the world famous Pomerol and Saint-Émilion appellations.

The most visible grape varieties in this vineyard for red wine are: Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. For white wine, it is Sauvignon, Sémillon and Muscadelle. You will not find rosé wines in this wine region.
