The Loudenne vineyard is a haven of beauty, a concentrate of nature where everyone can come for a walk. About twenty kilometers north of Pauillac , Château Loudenne will seduce you as much for its delicate architecture as for its unique location on the banks of the Gironde Estuary. Admire the pink color of this 17th century charterhouse that foreign visitors call the “Pink Château”. At Château Loudenne , you can discover and savor the wines. The wines of Château Loudenne
The estate covers 132 hectares of land: 49.5 hectares of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, 8..5 hectares of Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon. Its wines come in three colors: red, white and rosé, and are part of the family of great Bordeaux wines. The work of the vine is done in reasoned culture by perpetuating an exceptional know-how.
Stay at Château Loudenne
The Château has 16 charming rooms:
- in the central part of the castle, in front of the Gironde, 7 prestigious and Superior rooms, spacious (from 26 to 47 m²) and all decorated with Victorian style furniture and available in pastel tones, the Blue, the Rose, the Yellow , …
- in the west wing of the chateau, 9 rooms overlooking the vineyard or the tree-lined inner courtyard of the property, of medium size (from 18 to 28 m²).
The Château also has common areas accessible to visitors, accentuating the atmosphere of a family home and reinforcing the feeling of being received like friends: very warm lounges, piano corner, pretty television lounges, accessible to customers. The west wing also has a living room and a fitted kitchen, thus offering some independence to customers who so wish.
