Prestige lunch (With family)

Superb visit, with detailed comments on both the history of the castle and the vineyard.

We booked online for the English tour and picnic. It's easy to find and our guide spoke perfect English, it was amazing to watch her flick from French to English. The tour was very informative and a typical french picnic ate by the river. Stunning

Interesting visit, many explanations given by the guide. A park with free access, a well-documented museum space. A varied tasting allowing you to discover the different grape varieties.

Visit and tasting (As a couple)

Very interesting tour in a beautiful chateau, vineyards and great views, we were lucky enough to be in the moment of grape harvesting and pressing. We discovered the history of the house, visited wine cellars and tried a lot of different wines.

Visit and tasting (As a couple)

We had a guided tour by a young student, who provided information very competently, with a lot of passion for wine and in the best English. Fortunately, the château is now back in French hands after 12 years in Chinese hands.

Visit Château Loudenne

The Loudenne vineyard is a haven of beauty, a concentrate of nature where everyone can come for a walk. About twenty kilometers north of Pauillac , Château Loudenne will seduce you as much for its delicate architecture as for its unique location on the banks of the Gironde Estuary. Admire the pink color of this 17th century charterhouse that foreign visitors call the “Pink Château”. At Château Loudenne , you can discover and savor the wines. Your visit takes you to the elegant Victorian cellars where the secrets of winemaking and aging are revealed to you, and ends, as it should, with the tasting of a few vintages from this estate which has long been involved in wine tourism.

The wines of Château Loudenne

The estate covers 132 hectares of land: 49.5 hectares of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, 8..5 hectares of Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon. Its wines come in three colors: red, white and rosé, and are part of the family of great Bordeaux wines. The work of the vine is done in reasoned culture by perpetuating an exceptional know-how.

Stay at Château Loudenne

The Château has 16 charming rooms:

  • in the central part of the castle, in front of the Gironde, 7 prestigious and Superior rooms, spacious (from 26 to 47 m²) and all decorated with Victorian style furniture and available in pastel tones, the Blue, the Rose, the Yellow , …
  • in the west wing of the chateau, 9 rooms overlooking the vineyard or the tree-lined inner courtyard of the property, of medium size (from 18 to 28 m²).

The Château also has common areas accessible to visitors, accentuating the atmosphere of a family home and reinforcing the feeling of being received like friends: very warm lounges, piano corner, pretty television lounges, accessible to customers. The west wing also has a living room and a fitted kitchen, thus offering some independence to customers who so wish.
