A very pleasant walk, some innovative wineries and a guide with a very good Spanish and who answered all the questions we asked him. The wines are very velvety and round on the palate.

Wonderful private tour in excellent English by Alice. Lovely family enterprise proud of their heritage and innovation in winemaking. Besides the Grand Cru wines they even collaborated to make wines from the Peaky Blinders Era and Lord of the Rings.

Alice has told us in a didactic way the family history of her vineyards and winery. They are pioneers and benchmarks in organic farming. The visit was very interesting and the surroundings were beautiful. Totally recommended.

It was a very good experience, Alice explained the steps of wine making very well, very close and friendly, she told us about the union between wine and family and the curiosity of this winery is that they made the wine for the Peaky Blinder series !!!

It was a visit to a winery with an excellent landscape next to the river, with a great tradition explained by Alice, the owner's daughter, and we tasted 7 very good wines, it is difficult to say which is better, in short, a very good tasting

Monsieur Bardet gave me lots of information about his working the vineyard and vinification, but he is above all a gentleman, a pleasure to talk to. His wines are from good to excellent, depending on own taste, but every wine has a project behind.

A very interesting visit. Alice was lovely. He explained everything to us with great care and trying to make his Spanish understood at all times. We tasted 7 of their wines. To each one better. A true marvel.

About the people

Winegrowers since 1704, the Vignobles Bardet have been working as a family for generations. Everyone brings their stone to the building to perpetuate the tradition of the vineyard. A tribute to the history of their family, the barge has become the emblem of Vignobles Bardet. Indeed, due to their location on the banks of the Dordogne, the ancestors of the family were barges and transported the barrels of wine to the port of Bordeaux. A symbol with sails looking towards a bold future.
