What to do and what to visit in Nantes?

Nantes is a French commune located in the west of France in the south of the Armorican Massif. Presented as "the most pleasant city in Europe" in 2004, in 2013 it received the Green Capital of Europe Prize and the European Capital of Innovation Prize in 2019. How is the Nantes wine region?

The Nantes vineyard is located in the departments of Loire-Atlantique, Vendée and Maine-et-Loire. The main grape varieties that make up the vineyard are, for red wine: Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Negrette, Gamay and Pinot Noir. For white wine, we are talking more about Burgundy melon, Sauvignon and Chenin.

The region mainly produces white wines but we also find red wines and rosé wines there.
