Patinated by time, in the middle of the vineyards, the Château de Chaintres is a charming 17th century manor house, located in the heart of the Saumur Champigny appellation.

The vineyard extends over twenty hectares including the famous Clos du Château of exceptional size and unique in the appellation. The wall was built in 1675 by the Oratorian Fathers of Notre Dame des Ardilliers who chose this place for its soil and its sunshine.
