The Aloxe-Corton appellation is a wine appellation of the Burgundy vineyard . You will find red and white wines harvested on plots which are delimited by the municipalities of Aloxe-Corton, Pernand-Vergelesses and Ladoix-Serrigny. This appellation extends over a terroir with an area of nearly 120 hectares. The main grape varieties are Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Although belonging to the Côte-de-Beaune, the red wines of Aloxe-Corton are quite firm and develop well, during your tastings, you will discover wines closer to the Côte-de-Nuits.
