Our tradition as winegrowers dates back to 1703, when our ancestors worked the vines in the neighboring village of Chamery. There is a document which suggests a much older ancestry, a “vine measurement” dated 1533, drawn up by Pierre Maillart, sworn surveyor in Chamery, on behalf of the abbey of Saint Nicaise.
Today, the 9th generation is at the helm with Nicolas, who after his engineering and oenology studies, returned in 2003. He thus perpetuates almost 300 years of history and preserves the philosophy of the house: expressing in the wines the potential of Champagne terroirs.
Since 2009, we have been committed to respecting the environment a little more by building 600 m² of photovoltaic panels, which represent production equivalent to 100% of our consumption. Our carbon footprint is significantly reduced.
