20 minutes from the city center of Reims, in the heart of the vineyard, the Canard-Duchêne house offers you a surprising visit and invites you to discover part of its 6km of cellars.
Canard-Duchêne combines a unique origin, history and style. The house has been located since 1868 in Ludes, in the Natural Park of the Montagne de Reims, nobility of Champagne. Its founders, Victor Canard and Léonie Duchêne, figures of the Champagne region, were recognized by the Imperial House of Russia as worthy of displaying its coat of arms. The double-crowned eagle, emblem of the Russian imperial family, has adorned all the labels of the Maison Canard-Duchêne since the end of the 19th century. Between originality and authenticity, its champagnes combine fruit, intensity and complexity.
The privileged location in the heart of the Montagne de Reims vineyard requires a means of transport (car, taxi, bicycle, etc.) to reach the estate from Reims or Epernay. (From Paris, take the TGV, a 45-minute journey, to Reims center or Champagne-Ardenne TGV station. Then take a taxi or rent a vehicle).
