Champagne J.m. Labruyère

Champagne Verzenay, France
Champagne J.m. Labruyère
Located in Verzenay, where Pinot Noir is king.
The origin of this Champagne estate dates back to the beginning of the 19th century. The first bottle of Champagne was produced there in 1863. Different families followed one another until 2012 when the keys were entrusted to another family of winegrowers from Burgundy: the Labruyère.
"Growing-Handling, we have chosen to preserve this jewel, both architectural and viticultural, by controlling all the stages of viticulture and vinification."
The wines benefit from prolonged aging on the lees (at least 3 years) in magnificent vaulted cellars with atypical architecture dating from 1820.
The dosage is carried out as accurately as possible, so that the terroir is fully expressed in the champagnes. A strong choice of a reasoned and uncompromising culture in order to respect fundamental values: terroir, tradition and excellence.
Certified HVE3 since 2017, the estate is in conversion to Organic Farming, the certification of which is planned for 2023.
