We are a family winery with many generations making wine in a small privileged area: Ábalos, in La Rioja. The current generation, the brothers Félix and Jesús Puelles, acquired the Molino plantation in 1844 and moved to this enclave in 1985 to build their home and their dream: Bodegas Puelles. The winery is surrounded by vineyards, protected by the mountain and next to the old 17th century mill.
We have always bet on direct contact, the development of the wine culture and collaboration with tourism in the area. We are pioneers in wine tourism in Rioja and one day today, we continue to receive visitors from all over the world, transmitting to them the passion with which we work and experience the world of wine.
Regarding the vineyard, we take care of and work with a sustainable cultivation, with ecological viticultural practices that respect the environment and provide more quality to the grape. The result of all these factors is the wines we produce: a reflection of the land, the environment and the good work of the family.
