The Luis Alegre Winery was founded in 1968 in Laguardia (Rioja Alavesa), one of the most exclusive wine-producing regions in Spain. Over time, we have garnered significant recognition, 52 hectares of vineyards in a privileged location, and a collection of great wines.
We have a different way of being and doing things. We like to go out into the world to seek out the latest trends in winemaking, but our attachment to our land remains.
This commitment to innovation and endurance is what has led us to be among the first
to develop the concept of special wines linked to a specific plot.
Furthermore, as we are in love with the land we cultivate and inhabit, we have traditionally practiced viticulture that is as sustainable as possible, minimizing
the impact of product additions. Today, we practice a new viticulture method free of systemic products and herbicides. Caring for the environment has been and will always be at the heart of our decisions and actions.
