The Martínez Lacuesta Estate is the result of the long journey started at the end of the 19th century -in 1895- by Don Félix Martínez Lacuesta.

Bodegas Martínez Lacuesta is still in family hands today, after several successive generations, and is one of La Rioja's century-old wineries. The land of Haro, the winemaking know-how of its people, the vineyards and the estate are solid foundations that serve as the foundation for a modern wine business.

Unknown to the general public, hidden in his cellar, he works in the shadows to give birth to exceptional wines. The fruit of his work gives us moments of sharing and conviviality. Alvaro Martínez Del Castillo, our fourth generation oenologist, has held the keys to the success of Martínez Lacuesta wines since 2004. Grandson of Felix Martinez Lacuesta and son of an oenologist, he testifies of his passion through his know-how which was transmitted to him by his father.
