Allegrini has its roots in Fumane, in the heart of the Valpolicella Classica, a land of ancient and noble families
traditions. Documented since the sixteenth century, the Allegrini family is dedicated to the production of wine from
generations and is engaged in the forefront in the enhancement and promotion of Valpolicella, in support
of the culture and identity of its territory. The company underwent a profound transformation starting from the
1960s with Giovanni Allegrini. Recognized as one of the major creators of
rebirth of Valpolicella, Giovanni perfected the art of winemaking, acting with rigor in the selection
of the grapes and introducing some important innovations in the viticultural and oenological fields. The corporate legacy
it then passed into the hands of their children Walter, Marilisa and Franco, who were able to collect, develop and
communicate the great intuitions of his father with profound dedication, bearing the name of Allegrini and della
Valpolicella in the world.
