Our Estate
Described as "Italy's best kept secret", Umbria is an Italian rural idyll, a region with exceptional food and wine production, rolling green plains and traditional villages. Here the days go slowly; a life that has hardly changed over the course of 500 years, with good food and quality moments with friends and family.

It was this authenticity and character that inspired the owners to invest in Torre Bisenzio. A dilapidated former agricultural estate, full of Umbrian charm and tradition, over the years it has regained its place in the region: a functioning organic farm.

The estate is dedicated to the preservation of indigenous historical breeds. The white cattle that dot the fields belong to an ancient breed, bred in Tuscany, Umbria and Lazio for over 2000 years. The Chianina beef is famous for its quality and nutritional value and is used in the preparation of the famous and super “Florentine steak”. Torre Bisenzio was a valuable aid in increasing the Chianina population in the area, and now boasts a vigorous herd of 125 head that roams the farm.

With 650 olive trees, five hectares of vineyards and 450 hectares of land, the company also produces organic vegetables, red and white wines, a fragrant high quality olive oil and deep red saffron.
