Over 500 meters above sea level, Villa Le Prata sits just below the summit of the Montalcino hill. Here, its four small vineyards nestle on a strip of land where diverse ecosystems and distant geological eras meet.

We had a wonderful tasting at le Prata, located right outside of Montalcino at the top of the hill. A unique experience in a private, cozy tasting room. The wines varied based on soil type and age of the vines and were all excellent! Great visit!
