About the winery

Carpineta Fontalpino is a winery owned by the Cresti family. Gioia Cresti was born on 20 October 1968 in Siena to Italo and Silveria Cresti: last of three brothers, lively and cheerful since she was a child, she loves nature and animals. Italo Cresti bought Carpineta Fontalpino in 1967: a company where animals are raised and wine is produced for the family. Unfortunately only 4 years later Italo dies, but leaves Carpineta Fontalpino as a legacy to his children. The Cresti brothers grow up and Gioia feels the desire to study oenology.
