La Sala del Torriano, 20 km from Florence, is a company located in San Casciano in Val di Pesa, the northernmost municipality of the Chianti Classico area.
Our love for this territory and our passion for Sangiovese have driven us to create our own line of wines, created through the principles of organic farming, the Chianti tradition, with the support of the most cutting-edge technology.
The limited quantity of bottles produced allows us to carefully and punctually supervise all stages of production.
From 34 hectares of vineyards we select only the grapes that can reflect the quality standards for all our wines: from the Chianti Classico annata, to the Riserva, to the Gran Selezione il Torriano, to our IGT Campo all’Albero, for a total of about 50,000 bottles produced per year.

The Winemaker, Ovidio is the soul of the winery. Dedicating himself completely to his work, he follows each phase with meticulous care. He inherited his passion for the vineyard and for wine from his grandfather Ezio, a great farmer with 75 years of activity as a winemaker, with whom he went to the fields as a child to learn every secret.
