Château Lastours has been a family chateau since 1579. It has extended to a large wine estate. Coming from the past, you will come here to discover a 16th century castle, French gardens and a 17th century dovecote classified as a historic monument of France. Whether you come for a stroll, a tasting visit or to buy wine, you will be charmed by the calm, green and friendly setting that emerges. Let yourself be tempted by a visit that is both historical and oenological: discover the evolution of the house over the centuries. We will start the visit first outside around the history of the house, then, in the freshness of the cellar, we will continue with an approach of the development of our wines to close the whole with a tasting.

Meet the team
Before taking over the estate, Louis had an atypical career, an agri-food engineer with a banking specialization, he worked for a few years in the banking sector before returning to his roots. A welcome training because today the profession of winegrower requires a lot of versatility and skills in marketing, accounting, management... all without losing sight of the know-how of course.
