"Perlage d'Autore" is much more than a simple tasting; it's a fascinating journey born from a love of bubbles and the desire to produce sparkling wines that best express our terroir. The tasting will lead you to discover the two main methods for producing sparkling wines: the Classic Method and the Charmat Method. During a guided tour of our winery, you'll explore every stage of the production process, learning the fundamental differences between these two fascinating winemaking approaches.
Afterwards, you'll taste two Classic Method sparkling wines and a Charmat Method sparkling wine, carefully selected and paired with various local gourmet offerings. A unique sensory experience that highlights the characteristics of these prized bubbles, their refinement and complexity, the fruit of our commitment to producing sparkling wines and a deep passion for effervescent elegance.

About the host

Corte Fornello is located on the Moreniche hills, in Valeggio sul Mincio, south-east of Lake Garda, in the province of Verona. We are a small family-run company with 11 hectares of vineyards, which focuses its attention on the quality of its wine. We have been producing and taking care of our wine for five generations, following all the phases of the winemaking process, from the cultivation of the vine to the bottling. We are happy to welcome guests for wine tastings, including a guided tour of our vineyards, the winemaking cellar and barrel room, an ancient building from the 18th century, and the tasting of the wines of our production paired with a platter of cold cuts and cheeses.
