About the host
In 1871 Eugène Mercier began an innovative project of digging his Champagne cellars: “Count in kilometers and not in meters” he told the architects. A few years later, visitors armed with curiosity were inspired by the discovery of no less than 18 kilometers of impressive underground tunnels! Come along yourself to discover the Maison Mercier onboard the little train and travel through part of our cellars!

Didn’t know what to expect, but it was wonderful. Love a tour that starts with an informative film! Then we get on a tram underground in the amazing cellars, then we see some grapes on the vines, and THEN we taste wonderful champagne! All great!
