Bodegas Bentomiz is a boutique winery located on the steep slopes of the Axarquía region of Malaga overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. Our 80 to 100 year old vines enjoy ideal natural conditions in which to thrive: they benefit from the slate terroir, a mild climate and the refreshing, salty sea breezes. Using our own winemaking techniques, we produce a range of fresh and delicate wines that have been awarded and applauded.

Meet the team

Clara and André are a Dutch couple who arrived in Málaga more than 30 years ago. Wine and food lovers, they discovered the quality of the grapes from Málaga's Axarquía region when they began restoring an abandoned vineyard and producing their own "local wine." It was spectacular, and so they turned their hobby into a business.
