A family estate since 1852, Rombeau has been part of the cultural landscape of Roussillon for 6 generations. Today, Philippe and Elise perfectly combine modernity and tradition to showcase Catalan culinary art. The estate has nearly 87 hectares of vines, 28 of which are organically farmed, and more than 20 grape varieties with the aim of offering unique and quality wines.

Meet the team

Henri de La Fabrègue started the business in 1850. His son Pierre, a wine enthusiast, improved the quality of the vintages and devoted a significant amount of time to their development. In 1988, Pierre-Henri de la Fabrègue diversified the activities through wine tourism, convinced of its importance for the future of the Estate. In 1993, he created the Rombeau restaurant. Today, Elise (Pierre-Henri's daughter) and Philippe (Elise's cousin) are perpetuating the tradition at Rombeau.

An incredible experience. Our host, Philippe, from the Rombeau family, told us in detail the history of the winery, the region, its grapes, and the family's wines. We even tasted the Phi wine, designed by Philippe himself. Highly recommended!
