About the winery

14ha family estate in organic farming, created in 1985 by Jean Berthet-Bondet and passed on to his daughter Hélène in 2018. We produce the entire range of Jura wines, represented by the 5 grape varieties Savagnin, chardonnay, trousseau, poulsard and pinot noir . Our Château-Chalon yellow wines are aged in a 16th century cellar.

Meet the team

Jean and Chantal Berthet-Bondet created the estate in 1985 after studying agricultural engineering. Both were neither from the region nor from the wine industry and created the estate entirely. Their daughter Hélène first studied languages and worked as a translator in Brussels before beginning a professional reconversion which brought her back to the cellar and the vineyards from 2013.
