Herdade Canal Caveira is located on the Alentejo coast, at the confluence of two major Portuguese wine regions, Setúbal and Alentejo. Surrounded by the Serra de Grândola, the property receives the maritime influence of the Alentejo Coast, land of a unique and original microclimate. It has an area of 45 hectares, of which 25 are vineyards and the rest olive trees, orange trees, cork oaks, holm oaks, strawberry trees and pines. With mostly sandy soils, wide temperature range and Atlantic influence, Herdade Canal Caveira produces elegant, complex and persistent wines. A perfect terroir for quality wines and demanding connoisseurs.
We have wine brands with the brand "Serra Brava" (registered in the 70s) among whites, rosés, reds and our Moscatel Frisante (the first with a quality designation in the Setúbal Peninsula region). "Vinha Morena" (reference and homage to the land, Grândola, Vila Morena) became a brand for entry-level wines and the brand "Herdade Canal Caveira" for top-of-the-range wines, such as Vinhos do Mar and the Vinhos da Mina. At the tasting at Herdade Canal Caveira, you can discover all the love, care and passion that goes into the production of its wines.
