Sabering is a unique tradition of the Champagne whose origin dates back to the era of Napoleon. The saber is used to open a Champagne bottle. The winegrower show you this spectacular technique right in front of your eyes !

This activity includes :

- Champagne Sabering Experience in the vineyard with the tutoring by winegrower. (1 bottle par person. In case of bad wether, the location may be changed.)
- The bottle saverd is offered to you for testing on the spot.
- Share a nice moment with a keen winegrower.

About the host

For over 5 generations, the PIERREs has dedicated their passion for the winegrowing and the production of premium quality Champagne wine.
In 2007, Laurent PIERRE took over this family winery and decided to develop its own Champagne brand in 2010. He loves his region and its terroir. His passion, good sense of listening to others and innovation in the vineyard work motivate him to face this mission in life.
PIERRE Laurent cultivate 4.5 hectares of vineyards in the Marne Valley West today. The parcels extend in five villages in South of the Aisne department: Saulchery, Charly-sur-Marne, Azy-sur-Marne, Crouttes-sur-Marne and Domptin, mainly planted with Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay.
Since 2019, the house is certified High Environmental Value level 3, op.A.
