Castello di Oliveto offers various types of tastings to savor its Tuscan products. The tasting of the wines, whose characteristics are described and praised by a sommelier, is accompanied by typical products and dishes.

During the tasting there will be a guided tour of the Castle and its cellars, where participants will receive interesting information on the wine production cycle and the history of the Castle.

The Simple Tasting is conducted with the tasting of Bianco IGT, Chianti DOCG Riserva, Supertuscan IGT, Vin Santo del Chianti Riserva DOC - accompanied by bruschetta with extra virgin olive oil, Tuscan pecorino, salami and cantuccini.

About the host

The Oliveto Castle built in 1424 by the noble and prestigious Florentine Pucci family, is one of the most beautiful fortified villas in Tuscany.

The building, whose name derives from the numerous olive cultivations surrounding the Castle, is located on the top of a hill, well protected by moats, walls and towers.

Today the Castle is at the center of an efficient and modern agricultural company which has relaunched, among other things, the characteristic hospitality of the Castle, a destination for agritourism holidays, and the typical production of wines and oil.
