Quinta de Amares, covering approximately 50 hectares, is located in the municipality of Amares, in the heart of the Vinho Verde Demarcated Region, in the small village of Santo André de Rendufe, a land of deep and historic religious traditions.

Adjacent to the Rendufe Monastery, the Quinta faces south, is sunny, and enjoys unique climatic conditions.

On our property, we offer a unique combination of soil, climate, and grape variety, allowing for the production of exceptionally high-quality wines.

Quinta D'Amares Vinho Verde wines, which have won numerous awards in prestigious national and international competitions, are produced from selected grapes of 7 different varieties and will undoubtedly surprise and win you over with their unique characteristics.

Meet the team

Quinta D'Amares has been an independent property owned by the Pedrosa family since 1988. Its first harvest was in 1991. Today, it is the winemaker Diogo Schart's who translates the knowledge and expression of this place into the wine. The team is led by the owner, Eng. António Pedrosa, and the responsibility for wine tourism falls to the commercial director Tiago Ferreira and the sales and wine tourism manager Pedro Dias. The passion for wine and for the Quinta is the factor that unites us and motivates us day after day!
