Visit Château Léoube
Château Léoube is one of the most beautiful wine estates in the Var region. Nestled between the idyllic coastline and the Massif des Maures mountains, Château Léoube is renowned for its organic wine. Château Léoube offers vineyard and cellar tours, as well as tastings in the tasting room. And to learn more about the lives of the estate's owners, take a look at the magnificent book "Nurture" by Carole Bamford, an ode to the farm, to beautiful things, and to good produce. To continue your wine tour in the Var region, and to dine with your feet in the sand just steps from Pellegrin Beach in a magical atmosphere… Head to Léoube for the château and the café!
Extend your visit to Château Léoube
In the heart of Léoube and just a few meters from Pellegrin Beach, Café Léoube is the perfect place to gather for lunch or dinner in an idyllic setting amidst garrigue, pine trees, and centuries-old olive trees. This peaceful haven offers Mediterranean cuisine where the chef elevates local produce and ingredients from the estate's permaculture garden. Extend your visit by renting paddleboards or kayaks. And for children's enjoyment, a wooden playground completes this idyllic setting.
Château Léoube Wines
Provence being the world capital of rosé wines, it is only natural that Château Léoube would focus on producing this nectar, available in a variety of cuvées. A must-try: Le Secret de Léoube, a complex and opulent gastronomic wine that will perfectly complement a carpaccio or a red meat tartare. In the limited edition range, the estate offers the Léoube la Londe cuvée, a fruity and organic rosé made from the best juices of two plots of old Grenache and Cinsault vines. Delicate and precise, this wine pairs well with fish or shellfish with fine flesh. Better known, Rosé de Léoube is a terroir-driven wine with an aromatic style that truly honors Provence. It is appreciated by even the most discerning palates thanks to its subtlety and exotic character. In addition to rosés, the winery also produces a selection of pleasant and appealing red wines made from the four main grape varieties of southern France (Syrah, Cinsault, Grenache, and Mourvèdre), as well as fresh, structured, and balanced white wines.
