From the alliance between science, knowledge, and terroir comes the art and skill of making wine. At Malhadinha, the responsibility is shared by two winemakers: Luís Duarte, consulting winemaker, friend of the Soares family and inextricably linked to Malhadinha from the beginning, is responsible for the flagship wine “Marias da Malhadinha”. His consulting work unfolds in close harmony with the resident winemaker, Nuno Gonzalez, responsible for creating the blend of indigenous grape varieties.
