About the winery

My husband Yvan and I operate a family winery, created in 1778 in Gertwiller, Alsace, a few kilometers from Strasbourg. We are the 11th generation of winegrowers, of the same family, to exploit our vines and vinify the 7 Alsatian grape varieties. We like to share our passion for wine through our family history, and our cellar secrets, in a friendly and warm atmosphere. The Zeyssolff family cask, made in 1897 for the Universal Exhibition in Paris, is one of our main curiosities. Meet the team

In Gertwiller, the village of gingerbread and a renowned center for Gewurztraminer, home of Klevener de Heiligenstein, in the foothills of the Alsatian Vosges Mountains, Maison ZeyssolffF has created a "Wine Space." Eager to share the fruits of their passion, Céline and Yvan ZeyssolffF chose to create an original, cultural, and fun space in the Maison's former cellar. Yvan manages the estate, tends the vineyards, and is the cellar master. Céline manages and develops all aspects of wine tourism!

Visit Maison Zeyssolff

Come and meet Céline and Yvan Zeyssolff, who have created an original, cultural, and fun space for you in Gertwiller, Alsace. Blending tradition and modernity, this space showcases objects from the past in a contemporary setting, combining scenography, tastings, a shop, and a wine bar. Maison Zeyssolff boasts an exceptional cellar with around twenty century-old oak casks, each with a capacity of 10,000 liters. Its most remarkable feature is the Zeyssolff barrel, made in 1897 for the 1900 Paris Universal Exhibition. The Zeyssolff Estate offers wine tourism with its four gîtes (holiday cottages), a bar/restaurant, and welcomes numerous groups.
