Quinta da Folgorosa is a winery with over three centuries of history, located in Dois Portos, Torres Vedras. It's a 40-minute drive from Lisbon.
In 2019, the quinta was taken over by Thomas Lindeborg, a Swedish businessman with a passion for Portugal and its wines, who gave it a new lease of life.
We started focusing more on Portuguese grape varieties and white wines. Sustainability became our top priority. We abandoned herbicides and pesticides, installed solar panels, and started a sheep herd. And we prepared the house to welcome you, of course!
The proximity to the sea and the clay-limestone soils are key elements of our terroir, which manifests itself in the freshness, acidity, and minerality of Quinta da Folgorosa wines.
