Meet the team

Virtus is born from the story of two passions. The first, the passion for horses. Mariano Escribano, a cavalry officer, instilled in his family an admiration for horses. The second, the passion for wine. In 1986, Paloma Escribano made her dream of creating a boutique winery in the Ribera del Duero come true, with a visionary approach to sustainability and respect for raw materials, avoiding the use of chemicals.
