Meet the team

Ribafreixo Wines was born in 2007 and was created by Mário Pinheiro and Nuno Bicó, who idealized their project in Vidigueira, an Alentejo region with a great wine tradition. Vidigueira is part of one of the 8 D.O.C sub-regions of Alentejo. They recovered some pre-existing vines and planted new ones around the entire estate. Currently, Ribafreixo Wines has been integrated into the Terras & Terroir group, forming part of a family of 5 farms and estates.
