Founded by Celso Pereira and Jorge Alves in 1999, Quanta Terra specializes in the production of still wines that come from one of the most special and unique terroirs of the Douro: the Planalto de Alijó and the Tua Valley. Over the years, Quanta Terra has received regular recognition from specialized Portuguese and international magazines.
In March 2022, Quanta Terra takes the next step by transforming an old Casa do Douro distillery into a wine tourism and culture space, which is now open for visits. With the motto “The place where Wine and Art meet", this former distillery has become a center of cultural activity for Quanta Terra. Here we regularly hold events such as art exhibitions, concerts and debates.
