Torre De Palma Wine Hotel

Herdade Torre de Palma is located in the heart of the Alto Alentejo wine region, in Monforte. This is a project focused on producing signature wines, such as the Arinto + Alvarinho blend, which respect the terroir, practically handcrafted, in small batches and with minimalist intervention.
7 grape varieties spread over 7 hectares installed in clayey loam soils, with small patches of limestone, schist, sandstone and marble. It benefits from the local climate of the Serra de São Mamede, with large thermal amplitudes, fundamental and beneficial to prolong the period of maturation of the grape. The relief and layout of the vineyard allows a strong natural ventilation of its interior. These are some perfect combinations to produce unique wines, in harmony with nature.

This boutique winery is an ex-libris and the symbol of the existing wine culture in Torre de Palma. The main objective was to build a traditional wine cellar, with small marble presses from the region for treading and fermenting red grapes and refrigerated cement deposits, producing wine in an artisanal way. In this space there is also a barrel room and a wine tasting room.
