The experience begins with an introduction to the brand and family history, followed by a walking tour of the exterior, passing through the vineyards, and ending with a visit to the interior of the winery and cellar where we explain the entire winemaking process.

The visit includes a Virtual Reality Harvest experience.

The guided tasting takes place at the end and includes an exclusive tasting of 5 aged Port wines. You will learn the secrets of Port wine production and how time transforms and enriches this very special wine.

About the host

Quinta do Vallado, built in 1716, is one of the oldest and most famous Quintas in the Douro Valley. It belonged to the legendary Dona Antónia Adelaide Ferreira and is still in the possession of her descendants. It is located on the banks of the Corgo River, a tributary of the Douro River, right next to the mouth, near the town of Peso da Régua, 4km from the train station and approximately 120km from the city of Porto.
