The experience takes place in the magnificent and tranquil setting of the Terra Brum garden, with direct views of the over 80-year-old vineyards and Pico mountain.

The Premium Tasting includes 5 white wines, one rosé, and an additional wine of the client's choice, either Claret or Red. It lasts approximately one and a half hours and invites you to discover the essence of Adega do Vulcão: the unique history of our family winery, nestled between the islands of Faial (where we are the sole wine producer) and Pico, a tour of the historic Solar Terra Brum facilities, and a detailed explanation of each wine included in the tasting, accompanied by a small platter of local specialties.

About the host

The wine tasting at Adega do Vulcão takes place in the historic Solar Terra Brum, located in an area classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This is undoubtedly the most emblematic location of the historical viticulture of Pico and, possibly, of the entire Azores archipelago.

The experience lasts one hour and includes a wine tasting, with Classic (4 wines) and Premium (7 wines) options, as well as a visit to the garden and some of the old production facilities of the Solar.

It is the ideal stop for visitors or hikers exploring the old vineyards of Criação Velha, offering a unique combination of history, landscape, and authentic flavors of Pico.
