We will welcome you in our fully renovated vault in 2015 made of wood and concrete, where we will present the history of the ZEYSSOLFF family, winegrowers since 1778. We will introduce you to the family’s history with a glass of Alsace Crémant, then we will take you, as an introduction, to a video room where you will be able to discover all the wine-making work.

Then we will open the doors of our family winery dating back to 1850, where you can discover our century-old oak barrels of more than 10,000 l each, always used to this day to vinify our wines. Throughout the visit, we will also offer you 5 to 7 different wines of the estate accompanied by kougelhopf, Alsatian brioche and mini salted pretzels.

You can discover our small specificities, the Pinot Gris "Rose" or the rare Klevener de Heiligenstein.

Wide range of wines from Alsace to tasting: from dry wines to the sweetest, to sparkling wines. Field in BIO conversion since 2018.

You can then if you want to take some time and relax in our dining area bar - tea room.

About the host

My husband Yvan and I operate a family winery, created in 1778 in Gertwiller, Alsace, a few kilometers from Strasbourg. We are the 11th generation of winegrowers, of the same family, to exploit our vines and vinify the 7 Alsatian grape varieties. We like to share our passion for wine through our family history, and our cellar secrets, in a friendly and warm atmosphere. The Zeyssolff family cask, made in 1897 for the Universal Exhibition in Paris, is one of our main curiosities. We welcome you to make you discover our cellar through a guided tour and to make you taste the fruit of our work...

Very good time, we learned a lot with my partner and discovered this beautiful area! We highly recommend it. The young man who looked after us was passionate which made the experience all the more enjoyable.
