About the host
The history of Domaine Hubert-Brochard has been written for five generations in Chavignol, a few kilometers from Sancerre. At the heart of the Appellation, the terroirs surrounding this charming village are particularly renowned. They thus offer a unique expression of Sauvignon Blanc, an emblematic grape variety of the Center-Loire.
Our vines are located in two prestigious appellations: Sancerre and Pouilly-Fumé. We have always been keen to preserve and reflect the diversity of our terroirs in our wines.
Sauvignon blanc and Pinot noir are planted on three main types of soil: white earth (clay-limestone), flint and caillottes (limestone soil).
The estate is certified “High Environmental Value”. Part of the vineyard is in conversion and will be certified Organic Agriculture by 2026.
