Set off to discover the 7 centuries of history of a legendary Grand Cru Classé from Graves.
Your adventure begins in the castle cellar, where you will be told the story of Pope Clement V. After this introduction and a visit to the vineyard, enter the wooden vat dedicated to the vinification of red wine. Finally, enter the barrel cellar where our wine rests for 16 months and discover the subtleties of successful aging.
At the end of this visit, you will taste three wines from Château Pape Clément, including the red, Grand Cru Classé de Graves, and the confidential white vintage.
A parallel will be made between the wine of yesterday and today throughout the visit in order to understand the evolution of the production of a Grand Cru Classé over the centuries.
Children can participate in the visit for free, however, they cannot take part in the wine tasting.
The gardens are not accessible on weekends from April to October because they are privatized for weddings.
