You're about to embark on an unforgettable experience: in the morning, explore two castles in the region: the "perfect" Château d'Azay-le-Rideau and the magnificent Château de Villandry; and in the afternoon, visit a vineyard in Vouvray.

You'll begin with a visit to the Château d'Azay-le-Rideau, a true jewel of Renaissance architecture built by a secretary to King Francis I.

Then, arrive at the Château de Villandry to visit its gardens, a jewel of French heritage created during the Renaissance. You can stroll through the kitchen garden, the maze, and around the water garden.

Finally, discover two vineyards in the region. Meet a local winemaker, visit the estate, and explore the troglodyte cellars. During the visit, you'll deepen your knowledge of winemaking and, of course, wine tasting.

Your guide will share their expertise with you, helping you understand the diversity of Loire Valley wines.

Visit the château d'Azay-le-Rideau

As Balzac described it, " The Château d'Azay faceted diamond set by the Indre River" is as faithful as ever. Built by Gilles Berthelot, advisor and secretary to François 1er, you'll be greeted by a straight staircase, a true 16th-century creation, surrounded by a lacework of stone. As you wander through the rooms, you'll discover the lifestyles of several owners from different eras, taking you back in time.

Visit the gardens du Château de Villandry

A Renaissance château built on the site of an ancient 12th-century fortress, this still-inhabited chateau is a splendid showcase for the Renaissance garden, with its vegetable patch, ornamental gardens and forest... Get lost in the property in the different gardens constantly changing colors with the seasons. With over 110,000 plants planted each year, and dozens of species of vegetables and fruit to adorn the kitchen garden, this is a true visual and sensory experience.

Visit and tasting à Vouvray

Visit a troglodyte cellar in the heart of the Vouvray appellation, and chat with a passionate winemaker who will introduce you to a wide variety of wines: from sparkling to dry, mellow to semi-dry, you're bound to find what you're looking for. During the afternoon you will discover the Chenin Blanc, this magical grape that allows the winemakers to produce the whole range of wines. After the tasting, stop off in the vineyards for souvenir photos and further explanations about wine in France.
