Immerse yourself in the heart of an enriching experience and visit the park of our 17th century castle, renowned for having sheltered Pierre-Paul Riquet during the construction of the Canal du Midi. Discover its history and its architecture, while enjoying an unobstructed view of the valley, the Canal du Midi and, weather permitting, the Pyrenees chain.

Explore our wine cellar, where we will reveal the different methods used to make our cuvées. Unravel the mysteries of our range with a tasting of our best cuvées. Let yourself be charmed by our crémant, "Les Bulles de Paraza", from the Palmas cuvées, offering exceptional white and rosé wines, and the X and MMV cuvées, from our plots of old vines and aged in oak barrels.

We will explain to you the specificities of our terroir, as well as the grape varieties, aromas and food and wine pairings specific to each one in order to broaden your knowledge and create unforgettable memories.

About the host

On a plateau that overlooks the plain to the Pyrenees, above the Canal du Midi, the Paraza vines grow on a preserved terroir, lined with woods and olive trees. The clay-limestone soils, the sunny and windy climate specific to the Minervois, give our wines a generous character and a singular identity, harmoniously blending aromatic richness and finesse of the tannins.

Far from the vineyards, the roofs of the castle dating from the 17th century underline the nobility of the place. Under Louis XIV, the Château de Paraza served as a home for the engineer Pierre Paul Riquet during part of the construction of the Canal du Midi.

Charmed by the magic of the estate, in 2005, we undertook to change our lives and become winegrowers. Since then, we have been working as a family with passion and energy to offer you experiences of discovery of the vine and the wines of our estate.
