About the host
Premier Cru Classé of Sauternes since 1855, Château Climens receives its nickname of "Lord of Barsac" from the incomparable style of its wines, famous for their elegance and the freshness of their expression. This very strong personality, Climens owes it above all to its unique limestone soil and to the mastery of the king grape variety of Barsac: Sémillon. A particularly sensitive grape, the entire estate has been biodynamic since 2010 to preserve nature and local biodiversity. The estate currently belongs to the Moitry family who, supported by an involved team, must write a new page in the history of Château Climens.
